What this website collects, what it does not, and where the small amount of information you give us actually goes. Written in plain language because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.
This site does not handle payment information
Truvision LLC does not collect payment details on this website. There is no field anywhere on these pages that asks for payment credentials, and there is no server behind the site that could receive them. When you place an order we record the order and email you a secure payment link handled by an outside payment processor.
Your billing details are entered on that processor's own pages, under its own security, and are never transmitted to or stored by us. We receive a confirmation that an order was paid and nothing more. If any page claiming to be Truvision ever asks you for payment credentials, it is not ours; close it and write to iamaoldboss@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect the name, shipping address, email address and phone number you type into checkout, plus the list of items ordered and the shipping method chosen. That is the complete set. We need the address to ship, the email to send your order number and tracking, and the phone number only because some carriers require one on the label.
When you write to us we keep the email itself, so that the next person to pick up the thread can see what was already said. We do not buy contact information from anyone and we do not build profiles of visitors.
What stays in your browser
Your cart lives in your own browser's local storage on the device you are using. It never leaves that device until you choose to place an order, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browsing data clears the cart, and the cart does not follow you to another device.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and embeds no social media widgets. There is no account system, so there is no password of yours for anyone to steal from us.
Who we share information with
Carriers receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your parcel. Our payment processor receives what it needs to take a payment, directly from you rather than through us. That is the entire list of third parties.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, for any price, ever. We disclose information only where US law requires it of us, and only the specific information required.
How long we keep it and how to have it removed
Order records are kept for seven years because tax and business records law requires it. Email correspondence is kept for two years and then deleted. Nothing else is retained.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion of anything not covered by that record-keeping requirement. Write to iamaoldboss@gmail.com and we will answer within one business day and act within thirty days. This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under thirteen.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it and the new version replaces the old one here. We do not email policy updates, because we do not run a mailing list.
